Who are Saboteurs?

Ever caught yourself stuck in a negative loop, feeling stressed, anxious, or just not in control? Well, meet your Saboteurs – those tricky voices in your head stirring up all those emotions. They’re like old habits, hardwired into how you think, feel, and react, causing a whole bunch of unwanted feelings – stress, anxiety, self-doubt, frustration, restlessness, you name it. They sabotage your performance, wellbeing, and relationships.

Where do they come from? 

Funny thing is, these Saboteurs often start as our childhood guardians, helping us survive the ups and downs. Fast forward to adulthood, we’ve outgrown them, but they’re still hanging out in our minds, triggering automatic responses through neural pathways.

But aren’t they good for me? 

Oh, those Saboteurs claim they’re on your side, like the Judge who thinks constant self-critique and self-bashing is a ticket to improvement. And yes, the Saboteurs might have helped you get where you are. But is this sustainable? What was the price you had to pay? Sure, a bit of discomfort can be helpful. When you put your hand on a hot stove, the discomfort serves as warning. But if you let those negative emotions linger, you’re basically letting your Saboteurs hold your hand on that hot stove, complaining about life being tough and unfair. Time to show them the exit!
